Managing Director Craig Cygler has spent his life around the petroleum industry, thanks to his father’s involvement in the sector in North Queensland and Papua New Guinea.
Craig completed an apprenticeship as a mechanical fitter and spent five years in mining before returning to Cairns in 2004 to start the business with a goal of providing premium quality service and nationwide solutions for fuel management and distribution.
Nqpetro’s vast network of technicians and installers now provides timely, expert service to clients from PNG to the Northern Territory, and WA to the east coast. Their contracts range from managing unmanned truck stops in remote areas and overseeing aviation facilities, to building construction within service stations, servicing the mining industry, and providing fuel pump servicing for major oil companies throughout all regions.
With the head office still located in Cairns and technicians based in key regional locations, the company’s continued growth is a testament to its ability to deliver turnkey solutions on time and within budget. This success is backed by a strong professional team, no matter how remote the project may be.
